ATHENS, Ga. * The Auburn equestrian team (2-2, 1-1 SEC) falls short of victory against the undefeated Georgia Bulldogs, 1,229-1,219.5, but have a convincing five point win in hunt seat in Athens Friday to end the fall season. "We had really great rides throughout the competition," said Auburn head coach Greg Williams. "We dominated over fences where Natalie Burton and Lauren Hulen both scored an 82."

Leading the Tigers in equitation was senior Cassie McEnroe with an 88. To round out the western end was senior Katelen Ream with a 69 in horsemanship and sophomore Julie Gibbes with a 73 in reigning.

"It was close until the very end," said Williams. "I wish we could have pulled out a win on both side, but this is a good end of the season for us.

"There a few things for us to improve on, but everyone is progressing and I am looking forward to next season."

The Tigers get back to action in January with the Celebration of Women where they will ride against Auburn equestrian alumni.
