The fall Auburn women's tennis season wrapped up Sunday with a pair of singles matches at the Seminole All-Conference Showdown in Tallahassee, Fla.
Junior Lindsay Song won her match in her bracket's consolation final, defeating Monique Burton of Southern Miss, 6-3, 6-3. Sophomore Yu Chen fell short in her bracket final, dropping a hard-fought three-set match to North Florida's Lucia Montano, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.
As a team, Auburn posted a 60-36 record in singles for the fall, led by Yu Chen's mark of 13-2. In doubles, the Tigers were a combined 23-17 overall, with Taylor Russo and Selin Ovunc posting the top mark at 7-2.
The spring season begins for Auburn Jan. 10-12 at the Spring Invitational in Orlando, Fla. Auburn will open dual match play at home Saturday, Jan. 18, when the Tigers host Central Arkansas and UAB.
