AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team ranks No. 12 in this week’s RoadToNationals.com rankings following a 196.6 on the road last week at Kentucky.

The team score moved Auburn’s average to 196.610, which is seventh in the Southeastern Conference.

Oklahoma remains at the top of the rankings with an average of 197.730. Florida stands at No. 2 with a 197.456 with LSU closing in with a 197.420. Utah (No. 4) and Michigan State (No. 5) round out the top 5 for the second week in a row.

The rest of the SEC is still among the top 20. Kentucky is eighth with Missouri (No. 9), Georgia (No. 11), Auburn (No. 12), Alabama (No. 14), and Arkansas (No. 15) following.

Auburn’s beam squad is still ranked at No. 6 nationally with an average of 49.295. Bars moved to No. 13 (49.150), while floor is ranked No. 16 (49.140). Vault remains ranked No. 17 (49.025).

Individually, freshman Katelyn Jong ranks 16th in the all-around with a 39.395. She went home with the beam crown after scoring a 9.95 vs. the Wildcats, while placing second on bars with a 9.9. She is ranked sixth nationally on bars (9.905) and 17th on beam (9.885).

Freshman Marissa Neal placed second on beam with a 9.925 last Friday and is tied for ninth nationally with a 9.905 average.

Sophomore Olivia Greaves is tied for 23rd on beam after a stellar debut on the event last week, scoring a 9.875.

Auburn takes on No. 11 Georgia in Neville Arena this Friday, February 7. The Tigers and the Bulldogs will face off at 7 p.m. CT and streamed on SEC Network+.
