AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn has been selected to participate in the NCAA Columbus Regional in Columbus, Ohio, the NCAA released on Monday. The Tigers have now earned a bid to the NCAA Championship in four consecutive seasons and 24 times in program history.

Auburn will face Belmont in the first round on Saturday at 9 a.m. CT. If the Tigers win on Saturday, they will advance to face the winner of Ohio State and Buffalo in the round of 32 match on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.

“It’s exciting anytime that you make the postseason and you get to keep extending the season,” said Auburn head coach Bobby Reynolds. “We’re excited to go to Ohio State, we’ve never been there so it gives a little different taste and different scenery. We played Belmont earlier in the season, so I like how it’s shaken out. Our guys have a chance to have a week off and really rest the body to gear up for, hopefully, a long postseason.”

Auburn will enter the NCAA Championship with a 19-10 overall record and ranked No. 31 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Ohio State, the host school, is the 1-seed while Auburn is the 2-seed, Belmont is the 3-seed and Buffalo is the 4-seed.
