AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn’s Anna Davis, Balma Dávalos and Elle Squires have each earned postseason honors from the SEC, the conference office announced on Friday. Davis has been tabbed first team All-SEC, Dávalos has been named SEC All-Freshman and Squires joined the SEC Community Service Team.

In just her second season of college golf, Davis now has three postseason honors from the conference as she was named second team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman in 2023. This season, the Auburn sophomore won the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational with a program record-breaking 54-hole score of 201 (-9) that featured a bogey-free 64 (-6) in the final round of the event. Davis also took home the individual title at the Illini Invitational at Medinah in the fall after carding a 203 (-13).

Davis leads the Tigers with a 70.27 scoring average and was named SEC Player of the Week three times this season.

In her first season on the Plains, Balma Dávalos has been a strong presence on the Auburn lineup this season. In nine tournaments, Dávalos recorded a 73.00 scoring average and finished inside the individual top 20 twice. The freshman led the Tigers at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic to begin the spring schedule, where she fired a final round 3-under (69) to finish the tournament in a tie for 11th place. Dávalos recorded her lowest round of the season during the Illini Invitational with a final round 67 (-5) and has carded 67 birdies throughout the season.

Through her involvement with Auburn’s Student Government Association and AuburnYOU, junior Elle Squires has made a major impact on the Auburn community. In December, Squires helped make Christmas wreaths for senior citizens in the community and she was involved in two projects benefiting grade school students in the spring.

Squires also took part in Cardinal Key’s letter writing campaign to active military personnel in the fall. Squires volunteered over 200 hours with Auburn’s SGA in media operations to promote the organization’s community efforts.

In her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, Squires volunteers with a youth group at her church, Covenant Presbyterian Church.
