AUBURN, Ala. – No. 17 Auburn will play for a chance to punch its ticket to the 2025 NCAA Championship this week at the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Gold Canyon, Arizona. The 54-hole event will be played Monday through Wednesday and the top five teams in the 12-team field will advance.
“I think that if we play our normal game and play solid golf, we will have a chance to win,” said Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen. “The girls have put the SEC Championship performance behind them. Their attitudes and work ethic have been turned up a notch, I think. We’re very excited to have the opportunity.”
The Tigers, making their 30th regional appearance in program history, will be joined in the regional by Oregon, Arizona State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, California, Virginia Tech, San Jose State, Sacramento State, Cal State- Fullerton, Navy and Quinnipiac.
At the SEC Championship, Auburn was led by sophomore Anna Davis and redshirt junior Carys Worby, who both finished the stroke play portion of the event in a tie for 13th place.
