AUBURN, Ala. — Clara Casajuana Vert, a standout youth midfielder from Barcelona, Spain, has signed to play her college career at Auburn, head coach James Armstrong announced Tuesday.

Casajuana Vert will join the program as a member of the 2025 freshman class and will have four full years of eligibility on The Plains.
“Clara has played at the highest level at one of the best clubs in the world,” Armstrong said. “She has fantastic game awareness and technical ability. She loves the game, and it is evident in the way she brings a sense of professionalism in everything she does.”
As a captain in the feeder system for the reigning back-to-back Champions League winner, FC Barcelona, Casajuana Vert has led her side to four consecutive league titles since 2021, including an undefeated 2022-23 season.
In 18 matches with Barca this season, the holding midfielder has already put away six goals of her own.
