AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn soccer bolstered its attacking unit with the addition of All-Atlantic 10 forward Margey Brown Friday. Brown joins the program with one year of eligibility remaining after spending the previous three seasons at Duquesne.
“Margey will bring tenacity and grit to our forward line,” head coach James Armstrong said. “She never gives up, loves driving at players and is very capable of scoring or creating dangerous opportunities for herself and others.”
Brown made over 50 appearances, nearly all starts, in her time as a Duke, and played her way to a pair of All-Atlantic 10 Conference honors, including a Second Team nod after a breakout 2024 season. Last fall, Brown led Duquesne in goals scored (9) and total points (23). She ranked second on the squad with five assists.
Thanks to a dynamic summer season with the semi-professional Cleveland Ambassadors, Brown was also named the Offensive Player of the Year for the Lake Erie Division in the WPSL.
Brown played club for Internationals ECNL and competed for Walsh Jesuit High School, where she led the Warriors to a district title in 2019.
