  • Led the league in average (.800), hits (12), total bases (22) and on-base percentage (.813) while tying with teammates Lucas Steele and Chris Rembert for the league lead in runs (seven) and ranking second to Steele in slugging percentage (1.467) and tied with Rembert for second in RBI (nine).
  • Became the first player in the league to record 12 hits in a series since Tanner Allen (Mississippi State) did so against South Carolina in 2019.
  • Collected four hits in three straight games, marking a career high in the category.
  • Is the first Auburn player to record three or more four-plus hit games in a SEC season since Gabe Gross in 2000.
  • Finished a double shy of the cycle and drove in a career high five runs in the series opener, hitting a grand slam to extend the lead to 24-1 in the fifth inning.

  • Hit a go-ahead two-run home run to break an 8-8 tie in the sixth inning of the series clinching win against the Gamecocks.
  • Turned in his first four-hit game in an Auburn uniform and reached base five times in the series finale.

  • Ranked fourth in the league in average (.615) and was top five in nearly every offensive category including runs (seven), hits (eight), RBI (nine), total bases (15), on-base percentage (.688) and slugging percentage (1.154).
  • Went 3-for-5 with a double, homer and season-high six RBI in the 24-run outburst in the series opener.
  • His six RBI were the most by an Auburn player in a SEC game since 2011 and the most by an Auburn freshman in a league game since Todd Faulkner in 1998.
  • Collected three hits for the second straight game and homered for the fifth time in a span of seven SEC games in the four-run third inning of game two against the Gamecocks.
  • Went 2-for-2 and reached base five times in the series finale.
  • Matched a team high this season by extending his hitting streak to 11 games and is hitting .511 (24-for-47) with 16 runs, three doubles, five homers and 15 RBI during the span.

  • Retired the first five batters he faced and 11 of the 13 that stepped to the plate against him in the outing.
  • Didn’t walk a batter and struck out four.

  • Earned his third SEC win – second on the team – and matched a season and career high with 3.1 scoreless innings in the finale against South Carolina.
  • Entered in the third inning with a 3-2 deficit and allowed for the offense to comeback and series the sweep.
  • Retired 10 of the 12 batters he faced and registered a career-high four strikeouts.
  • Sat down the last six he faced in his outing.

Team Notes

The series sweep of South Carolina was Auburn’s second SEC sweep of the season and marked the team’s ninth straight home series win dating back to last season … the nine straight series wins at Plainsman Park are the most since also winning nine straight home series from 2002-03 … the Tigers finished their home SEC schedule with a 12-3 record, tying the 1999 season for the most league wins at Plainsman Park in program history … the team has won seven of nine league series this season and is the only team in the league to win nine of the last 11 SEC series dating back to last season … the 16 SEC wins guarantee a winning record in league play for the fourth time under head coach Butch Thompson … prior to Thompson’s arrival, Auburn turned in a winning record in SEC play twice from 2001-15 … the Tigers .451 batting average for the series was the highest in the league by .111 points and the 46 runs were 18 more than any other team … the team also led the league in hits (51), home runs (11) and tied for the lead in double (nine) … Auburn’s 46 runs in the series were the most the program has ever scored in a three-game SEC series, surpassing 44-run efforts at Alabama in 2018 and vs. Georgia in 1994 … the 51 hits were the most in a SEC series since recording 61 hits vs. Georgia from Mar. 25-27, 1994 … the 11 home runs and 21 extra-base hits were the most since collecting 12 homers and 22 extra-base hits vs. Mississippi State from May 7-9, 2010 … the 24 runs in the series opener were tied for the third most in a SEC game in program history, including the most since 1965 … the five home runs in the series opener were the most in a game since also hitting five in the series finale at South Carolina in 2023 … Ike Irish became the first player since 2016 and fourth fastest player in program history to record his 200th in the series opener, doing so with a three-run homer in the fourth inning … the walk-off win in game two was the team’s second this season and marked the 11th one-run win of the year … Cooper McMurray became the sixth player in program history, including the first since 2010, to hit 40 home runs in an Auburn uniform, doing so with a go-ahead three-run homer in the fifth inning of the series finale … the Tigers totaled 16 multi-hit efforts and 12 multi-RBI performances in the three games … Auburn enters the last week of the regular season No. 2 in the RPI with the No. 1 strength of schedule.
