Started all 56 games that she played ... totaled 35 hits, including seven doubles and four home runs for 18 RBI ... scored 10 runs ... swiped a pair of bases ... held a .983 fielding percentage with 283 putouts and 32 assists. 

2002 | JUNIOR SEASON:
Started 63 games in 64 appearances ... hit .273 with 47 hits, five home runs and 22 RBI ... finished second on the team in doubles with 13 ... was 3-for-4 with a home run and a season high four RBI versus Kentucky on April 28 ... tied a school record with a .993 fielding percentage, committing only three errors in 420 chances, while leading the team with 377 putouts ... ranked second in the SEC with 23 caught stealing by on 61 attempts.

2001 | SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Started 51 games and saw action in 54 ... made 26 starts in left field, 15 at catcher and 10 at designated hitter ... batted .296 getting 45 hits in 152 at bats ... had six home runs and 33 RBI ... had a .938 fielding percentage making just nine errors in 145 chances ... drove in four runs on three different occasions ... went 4-for-5 with three runs scored versus Kentucky on April 29. 

2000 | FRESHMAN SEASON:
Started and played in 62 games ... had 34 hits in 169 at bats for a .201 average ... scored 18 runs and hit 12 doubles ... had 61 putouts and 116 assists along with 28 errors for a .863 fielding percentage ... helped turned five double plays ... hit 3-for-3 with four RBI, a run scored, a double and a home run against Texas-San Antonio (Feb. 11) ... went 3-for-4 with three doubles and two runs scored at Wichita State ... at Tennessee, she hit 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs and a double. 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended West Monroe High School ... coached by Amy Daigle and Phil Keifenheim ... lettered four years in basketball ... played on ASA team Louisiana Rippers from 1997 to 1999 ... helped lead West Monroe to a District 2 title in 1998 ... was a first team All-State catcher ... helped West Monroe post a 110-9 record her three seasons.

Born Leah Denise Zeigler on Oct. 13, 1980 ... parents are Don and Cheryl Zeigler ... grandfather, Lloyd Ray, played football at Northeast Louisiana University from 1950-52 ... other grandfather, Don Zeigler, played bsaketball at Northwestern State University from 1943-1944 ... uncle, Rocky Ray, played baseball at Northeast Louisiana in 1981.
