Appeared in 25 games, earning starts in three ... went 3-for-7 at the plate for a .375 average ... knocked a pair of doubles and added two RBI ... scored seven runs ... held a .667 on-base percentage behind four walks and three hit by pitches ... went 2-for-4 in stolen base attempts.
2003 | JUNIOR SEASON:
Started 28 games and played in a total of 35 ... batted .086 in 58 at-bats ... had a two-run double in only official at bat against Birmingham-Southern on Feb. 23 ... was fourth on the team with 86 putouts.
2002 | SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Started 61 games, hitting .169 for the season... finished the season with one homerun, seven doubles and 14 RBIs...led the team with 7 HBP and 10 sacrifice bunts.
2001 | FRESHMAN SEASON:
Started 37 games at shortstop and appeared in 38 for the Tigers ... in 98 at bats had 18 hits for a .184 average ... scored 10 runs and had four doubles ... went 1-for-3 with three RBI and first career double in a 7-0 win over Syracuse on Feb. 9 ... had a single and a pair of RBI in 9-1 victory over Ball State on March 11 ... recorded 66 putouts and 61 assists in 150 chances.

Coached by Randy Randall ... Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1998-99 and 1999-2000 ... team softball MVP in 1999 and 2000 ... first team All-Region in 1999 and 2000 ... second team All-Region in 1998 ... played for the Arizona Aztecs summer team in 2000 ... was with the East Valley Pride in 1999 ... played with the ASA Diamond Devils from 1996 to 1999 ... was salutatorian at her high school ... earned the Robert C. Born Lindsey Rae Chitwood on Sept. 17, 1982 in Mesa, Ariz. ... daughter of Mike and Louise Chitwood ... her father player baseball at Arizona from 1972-76 ... has one brother, Tanner, and two sisters, Casey and Jordan ... Jordan competes on the Ole Miss softball team ... is a double major in pre-physical therapy and zoology.
