Swam in the 200m free, 400m free, 1500m free and 200m fly at the 2009 U.S. Senior National Championships ... Finished 14th in the 200m free in a time of 1:50.40, while picking up a career-best time of 1:50.32 in the preliminary round ... Took 20th in the 400m free (3:55.19) and 29th in the 1500m free (15:52.07) ... Earned All-America honors at the NCAA Championships in the 800 freestyle relay ... Competed in 200m free, 400m free and 200m fly at the 2008 United States Olympic Trials... Swam to a 26th-place finish in the 200m fly (2:01.25), a 39th-place finish in the 200m free (1:51.18) and a 32nd-place finish in the 400m free (3:57.03)... Earned Honorable Mention All-America honors at the NCAA Championships in the 800 freestyle relay... Swam the anchor leg (1:36.70) on the 800 free relay (6:26.22) that finished 11th... Individually, Dove placed 19th in the 500 free (4:20.50), 23rd in the 1650 free (15:20.33) and 29th in the 200 free (1:36.57)... At the SEC Championships in Tuscaloosa Ala., Dove swam the anchor leg (1:36.99) on the third-place 800 freestyle relay (6:26.10)... He also swam to a seventh-place finish in the 1650 free (15:10.97) and two eighth-place finishes in the 200 free (1:37.33) and 500 free (4:21.88).
Freshman Season (2006-07)
Competed in the 200m free, 400m free and 800m free at the U.S. Senior National Championships... Led Auburn with a fifth-place finish in the 1650 free (15:21.99) at the SEC Championships... Finished sixth in the 500 free with a time of 4:26.36... Also made the finals in the 400 IM, finishing 16th in 3:56.62... Posted 'B' cut times in the 1650 free (15:16.41) and 500 free (4:21.53) at the James E. Martin Qualifier... His 15:16.41 in the 1650 free and 4:21.53 in the 500 free... Had Auburn[apos]s third-fastest 1000 free of the season, coming in at 9:18.09 against Florida... Swam on the 11th-place 800m free relay team at the U.S. Open... Also swam on the 400m free relay team that came in 16th while touching in 31st (16:20.82) in the 800m free.
