Prior to Auburn: Attended Guntersville High School in Guntersville, Alabama ... Enjoyed a spectacular AHSAA Indoor Championship meet where she set the state record in winning the Class 1A-4A triple jump (37-01.00), while also winning the 60-meter hurdles (9.11 seconds) and placing second in the long jump (16-11.25) ... 2012 and 2013 Huntsville Times Girls Track and Field MVP ... At the 2012 AHSAA Outdoor Meet, she won the triple jump, long jump, 100 and 300 hurdles ... Broke her own state record in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.48 ... Also won four state outdoor events as a sophomore in 2011 - the 100 and 300 hurdles and the long jump and triple jump ... As a senior won four more state titles ... 100-meter hurdles (15.91 seconds), 300 hurdles (47.25), long jump (18 feet, 4 1/2 inches) and triple jump (a state-record 39-1 3/4) ... Won 12 events at the state championship meet from 2011-13.
