AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn basketball has sold out of season tickets for the third straight time in 2016-17, all under head coach Bruce Pearl, to continue the school record streak. Prior to Pearl, the only other time the Tigers sold out of season tickets came in the 1999-2000 season.

Single-game non-conference tickets are currently on sale as well as the holiday bleacher ticket games vs. Coastal Carolina and former Auburn head coach Cliff Ellis on Dec. 15 and Mercer on Dec. 18 for $10 each. SEC holiday bleacher games vs. Georgia on Dec. 29 and Ole Miss on Jan. 7 are also available for $20 each.

"Selling out of season tickets for three straight seasons means invitations to the Maui Invitational and to Madison Square Garden. It means better home television dates, and it means the world of college basketball is recognizing that Auburn is excited about its men's basketball program, present and future.

"It speaks volumes about Auburn, and the fact that I have everything I need here to be successful. It's on me, and I think our fans have appreciated how hard our kids have competed in the last couple years, the schedule and the teams that we have brought in here in non-conference, and they recognize how talented this young team is. I think they are anxious to watch it develop and grow. They want to be along for this ride, and I am grateful."

Last season set an Auburn Arena average attendance record with 8,216 while Pearl's first season in 2014-15 set an Auburn Arena total attendance record of 133,033 total fans, the third-best total in school history.

Auburn Arena was filled to 90 percent capacity last year, ranking second in the SEC in percent capacity behind Kentucky for the second straight season after being filled to 85.7 percent capacity in 2014-15.

Single game tickets for the remaining SEC games will go on sale to the public at a date to be determined in December.

To purchase non-conference and holiday bleacher seat single-game tickets as well as tickets to the exhibition opener vs. Montevallo on Nov. 4, visit AubTix.com or call 855-AUB-2010.

After the exhibition vs. Montevallo, Auburn opens the season with three straight home games vs. back-to-back Atlantic Sun Champion North Florida on Nov. 11 followed by a pair of Cancun Challenge games vs. Georgia State on Nov. 14 and Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 17.

Georgia State has won 25 games in two of the last three seasons and defeated Baylor in the 2015 NCAA Tournament while Eastern Kentucky has won 21 or more games in three of the last four years.
