Auburn's baseball home for the past 75 seasons, Samford Stadium-Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park seats 4,403 and is one of the most intimate ballparks in college baseball, combining the look of old-time ballparks with academic buildings on the Auburn campus to create a facade of brick and painted steel.
Twice voted one of the top venues in the country for college baseball, Plainsman Park offers the brick backstop of Wrigley Field, the dark green chairback seats of Camden Yards and the Green Monster of Fenway Park, each timeless elements borrowed and melded together to create a timeless atmosphere for college baseball.
The intimacy of the park extends to the position of the spectators. The front row box seats are located close to the infield action, just four feet off the ground and only 40 feet from the first and third base bags. The backstop is just 40 feet from home plate and now includes the Hall of Fame Club, a new club space for the 2024 season that includes reserved seating, a standing room drink rail and access to a 3,000-square foot climate controlled club space.
