Auburn's baseball home for the past 75 seasons, Samford Stadium-Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park seats 4,403 and is one of the most intimate ballparks in college baseball, combining the look of old-time ballparks with academic buildings on the Auburn campus to create a facade of brick and painted steel.

Twice voted one of the top venues in the country for college baseball, Plainsman Park offers the brick backstop of Wrigley Field, the dark green chairback seats of Camden Yards and the Green Monster of Fenway Park, each timeless elements borrowed and melded together to create a timeless atmosphere for college baseball.

The intimacy of the park extends to the position of the spectators. The front row box seats are located close to the infield action, just four feet off the ground and only 40 feet from the first and third base bags. The backstop is just 40 feet from home plate and now includes the Hall of Fame Club, a new club space for the 2024 season that includes reserved seating, a standing room drink rail and access to a 3,000-square foot climate controlled club space.

The commitment to excellence of Auburn's baseball program is evident by the continuing efforts to keep Plainsman Park on the forefront of college baseball. Those efforts have included numerous additiona and upgrades to the facility since its initial renovations in 1996. The biggest renovation yet, which will include a First Base Club, Home Plate Club, and War Eagle Wall general admission space among other ammenities, will be completed prior to the 2025 season.

Besides the playing field, grand stands and ammenities above, the structure also houses the Tigers' clubhouse, which features a locker room, training and equipment areas, the Josh Donaldson Hitting Facility, a weight room, a team lounge and coaches' offices.

Auburn baseball has partnered with TrackMan and is one of four college programs actively using KinaTrax to implement a data analytic system that brings the Tigers to the forefront nationally in next-level player development.

Plainsman Park has hosted six NCAA Regionals (1978, 1999, 2003, 2010, 2022, 2023) and also had the privelege of hosting President George W. Bush on Oct. 24, 2002.
