The Auburn Baseball Player Development Center, located just beyond the right field wall at Plainsman Park, opened prior to the 2021 season. The 10,000-square foot facility can be modified with anywhere from two to four hitting/pitching tunnels. Additionally, it can be used as one large space that allows pitchers to throw live batting practice and infielders to field ground balls. Trackman is also installed in the space and provides data analytics to both hitters and pitchers.

The opening of the player development center also allowed for the old batting cages located behind the first base dugout to be turned into a weight room, which has since been renovated into the new Hall of Fame Club.
