AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn baseball program hosted its second annual Coaching Clinic inside Auburn Arena Tuesday morning. Nearly 150 high school coaches from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida were in attendance.

The day started with a two-hour session during which the Auburn coaching staff addressed those in attendance on culture, pitching, hitting, strength and conditioning and practice organization.

All coaches were then invited to attend and observe the Tigers' practice and intrasquad game at Plainsman Park.

"The Coaching Clinic is awesome to have because it's a great connection for us to make," head coach Butch Thompson said. "It's always good to get a group of coaches in our area on campus to see the things we do - just for that connection and that exposure. We were able to showcase a lot of the drills and a lot of the things we do on a day-to-day basis. It's a `thank you' to the coaches in our area, and them showing up is also an appreciation for what we do."

The Tigers' fall schedule continues through Nov. 17, culminating with the annual Orange and Blue World Series, and all practices and intrasquad games are free and open to the public.

Season tickets for the 2018 season can be reserved with a Billy Hitchcock Tigers Unlimited donation, and information can be found here.
