AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn softball team will be a bow on the fall exhibition schedule when it hosts Snead State at Jane B. Moore Field Thursday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
"Thursday night is our last opportunity to measure progress as far as outside competition goes," head coach Mickey Dean said. "We're going to take a look at some younger players and give them an opportunity to see where they are.
"We're looking forward to seeing the Auburn family one more time before we get ready for the spring season."
The Tigers are coming off their best offensive showing of the fall. Following back-to-back wins over North Georgia and Valdosta State, Auburn had 11 players tally one or more hits, while six knocked in at least one run.
Casey McCrackin hit for the cycle across two games to go along with three RBI and a stolen base. Brittany Maresette and Kendall Veach each laced three hits, while Morgan Podany secured two base knocks with two RBI.
The Tigers had 11 strikeouts in the circle to highlight the two shutouts.
As with all home fall games, admission is free to the public. There will be limited concessions serving bottled beverages, assorted candy and snacks.
The fall finale will not be streamed, but fans can stay updated through the Auburn softball Twitter account: @AuburnSoftball.
