Auburn's loss in the Capital City Classic was just its second in the 11th year of the annual event, including the team's first since 2014 … the series win at South Carolina was the team's third straight against the Gamecocks, including its second straight on the road … it marks the first time in program history the Tigers have accomplished either feat against the Gamecocks … Auburn improved to 20-2 when scoring four or more runs this season with the wins Friday (4-2) and Sunday (7-5) … the team is also now 2-4 when scoring three runs or fewer … the series finale at South Carolina marked Auburn's 25th game in the last two seasons with two or more home runs in a contest … the Tigers are 22-3 when hitting multiple home runs during the span.
