Time for another Q&A Friday! In our third installment, we catch up with rising sophomore guard Morgan Robinson-Nwagwu.
What is your favorite thing about Auburn?
My favorite thing about Auburn would be just the overall environment. The environment here is very welcoming and very college-like; with all the different activities that go on, Auburn is a very friendly campus and town.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My goals for this upcoming season are to be a better leader on the court, to play the game the way I know how to play and not think about making mistakes. I also want to play with confidence and to not let anything bring my confidence down. Play with the confidence and mentality that no one can stop me.
What advice would you give to any young athletes wanting to play college basketball?
I would tell them to make sure you always take care of your body and to make sure that when you come that you do not play nervous and be ready for any obstacles because there will be some.
What is one of the biggest challenges of being a college athlete, and what do you do to overcome this challenge?
I think one of the biggest challenges being a college athlete would most definitely be time management because now you have a lot more things to do during your day. I overcame this challenge by making sure I was organized and making sure I knew what I had to do and what time everyday so I would not miss anything
If you could give any advice to yourself as an incoming freshman, what would it be?
If I could give any advice to myself coming as an incoming freshman I would tell myself to make sure I come and produce like they brought me in to do, and to make sure I do not let anything get to my head and bring my confidence down. To play like I know I can play, to play like a "dog" like how I did in high school when I knew no one could stop me.
