What is your favorite food?

I don't have a favorite, but I like burgers, steak, and seafood. I would say seafood is my favorite.

Do you have a favorite quote or saying?

I love Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."

What are you listening to on repeat right now?

"Golden" by Jill Scott. I listen to it every morning when I wake up.

What did you binge-watch during quarantine?

The entire series of Vampire Diaries.

What is something you did during quarantine to stay busy?

I mainly window shopped. I bought something here and there, but it was pointless because there's nothing to buy anything for (because we couldn't go anywhere) due to Covid-19.

What is your major?

I am majoring in kinesiology.

What are you plans for the future?

I want to start my own elite academics and athletics boarding school. Similar to IMG Academy where I attended high school.

Why did you choose to transfer to Auburn?

I felt that Auburn was going to help me academically and athletically for a brighter future.

Any pre-game rituals or superstitions?

No, I'm not that type. I've had teammates that would wear the same ponytail holder or underwear, but for me I just get out there and play.

When did you start playing basketball?

I was in the 8th grade when I started playing competitively. I knew I wanted to be a basketball player from a much younger age.

What's the biggest basketball highlight of your career?

Last year I was playing in a rivalry game against Bethune-Cookman. Although we lost, during the final seconds, the energy was amazing to be playing in.

What was it about Coach Flo, her staff and her style of basketball that was appealing to you?

What was appealing to me was that Auburn plays as if they want to win. Every player has the same mindset as they step on the court.

You started your college career playing for Florida A&M. Can you describe the transfer process coming to Auburn?

The transfer process went very smoothly. I started the process during finals week so that was very stressful, but overall it was a nice transition.

Do you have any advice you would give to girls dreaming of playing college basketball?

My advice to them is no matter what, work hard. Make sure your grades are straight and all your hard work will pay off.

What would be your ultimate achievement in basketball this year?

I have to sit out this year, but I'm going to help my teammates out whenever they need me.

What one word describes you?

I'm different. I'm not a very average person, so I feel as if I stand out.

What has been the biggest challenge balancing school and basketball?

Online school is 10 times harder than in-person classes. Although you're not physically in class, you still have to be present and pay attention.

What drives you to get up in the morning and go training every day?

I know where I want to be one day. I wake up, play the song "Golden" by Jill Scott, and start my day trying to be better than I was yesterday.

You were named MEAC Rookie of the Year last year at FAMU. Can you describe that feeling being awarded such a prestigious honor?

Honestly, it was shocking to me. I did not expect it at all. When my coach told me, I was in complete shock, but it was the most amazing feeling I've ever had.
