AUBURN, Ala. – It's been two years since the Auburn women's golf team last played in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. It was final event of the 2019-20 season before it was canceled, and Auburn finished second in a strong 17-team field.

The Tigers hope to recapture some of that magic this year as they return to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Long Cove Club where they will tee off Monday.

As always, the tournament features one of the most challenging fields Auburn will face all season with 10 of the 17 teams ranked in the Top 25 of the latest WGCA Coaches Poll, including six of the top 12 teams nationally. The Tigers come in at No. 17.

This year's event will be unique in that all three rounds will be televised by the Golf Channel. It's the first all-women's regular season collegiate golf tournament to presented live on the network. Coverage will run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. CT each day.

Auburn will be led by Mychael O'Berry at the top of its lineup. The senior is coming off a 13th-place finish at the Moon Golf Invitational where she finished 1-under.

O'Berry will be followed by Anna Foster, Kaleigh Telfer, Megan Schofill and Elina Sinz. Schofill and Telfer both finished among the top 10 individually at the 2020 Darius Rucker Intercollegiate two years ago. Schofill was tied for third at 1-over. It will be the first time Foster and Sinz, both sophomores, have played in the event.

The Tigers will be paired South Carolina and Duke for the first round. The group will tee off Monday at 10:20 a.m. CT. Live scoring can be found on Golfstat.com
