AUBURN, Ala. – At the halfway point of the SEC season, Auburn has yet to lose in league play. The Tigers (21-1, 9-0) are riding a 18-game winning streak into Saturday's game at Georgia and are ranked No. 1 in the country for the second week in a row.

A big part of that success has been Auburn Arena where the Tigers have yet to lose this season. They are currently on a 14-game home winning streak dating back to last year.

However, Auburn has been equally impressive on the road with a 6-0 record in true road games and a 4-0 mark on the road against SEC teams. The rest of the conference is 18-40 (.310) on the road, and the Tigers are the only SEC school who has not lost on the road.

"How we do on the road matters to me," Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said. "Historically people – as they would and should – have recognized the Jungle and the great home-court advantage that Auburn enjoys. I think we've got as good a home-court advantage as there is in the country. Our students have been amazing, and I'm so pleased by how much they're enjoying this team and being a part of the Jungle.

"At the same time, we've also got a really good road record. Not just this year, but over the last five years. We're going to try to add to that as our next two are on the road."

First up on the upcoming two-game road tour is a trip to rival Georgia on Saturday. The Bulldogs might be at the bottom of the SEC, but they have played much better at home this season and knocked off Alabama at home just last week.

Pearl has also made sure to remind his team that they trailed by 10 or more points in each of their last two road games at Missouri and at Ole Miss.

"You know the players are going to hear that message loud and clear," he said.

Auburn and Georgia will tip off at noon CT from Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia. Andy Burcham and Sonny Smith will have the radio call on 93.9 Tiger FM and online at AuburnTigers.com, and the game will also be televised on SEC Network with Dave Neal and John Sundvold on the call.

PLAYER TO WATCH: WENDELL GREEN JR.

Named to the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Watch List this week, sophomore Wendell Green Jr. is third on team in scoring (12.6 ppg), leads the team in assist (5.0 apg) and is third in rebounding (3.9 rpg) despite being the shortest player on team – all while coming off the bench in 19 of Auburn's 22 contests. He notched a game-high 23 points and added eight rebounds and six assists in Tuesday's win over in-state rival Alabama.

INSIDE THE SERIES: GEORGIA

In the all-time series with Georgia, Auburn holds a two-game advantage, 98-96. The Tigers have won seven of the last nine games dating back to 2018, and though Georgia has 63 of the 89 meetings in Athens, Auburn has won three of the last four in Stegeman Coliseum.

With a win Saturday, Auburn would sweep the season series against Georgia for the third time in the last five years. Prior to that, the last Auburn sweep was during the 1985-86 season.

Head coach Bruce Pearl is 19-9 all-time against Georgia.

ROAD WARRIORS

Auburn has a perfect 6-0 mark in true road games this year, including a 4-0 road record in SEC play. The six-game road win streak is the second longest in school history and is tied for third nationally behind Gonzaga (W8) and Davidson (W7).

Equally impressive is the fact that in four of Auburn's six road wins, the Tigers had to overcome a deficit of 10 points or more to win.
