FREEPORT, Bahamas—Auburn senior high jumper Dontavious Hill took fourth place at the 2022 NACAC Senior Championships in Freeport, Bahamas, last weekend while representing the United States.
 
The Mobile, Alabama native, who had also been named a captain for Team USA, cleared 2.22m/7-3¼, before missing on three attempts at 2.25m/7-4½. Former Auburn NCAA Champion and Bahamian Olympian Donald Thomas took the bronze medal after a successful attempt at 2.25m.
 
Rachel Dincoff, who was an Olympian for the United States during the 2020 Summer Games and was an All-American at Auburn in 2014 in the shot put, also won bronze in the women's discus throw. Dincoff's best mark of 61.56m/201-11 came on her sixth and final attempt.
 
Thomas is currently ranked No. 16 in the World Athletics rankings, while Hill is No. 35. Dincoff is the world's No. 12 ranked discus thrower.
