AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn men's tennis team will begin the 2023 spring slate as the 24th best team in the country according to the preseason rankings announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Wednesday.
The poll features seven teams from the Southeastern Conference, which is the most of any conference in the country. Wednesday's ranking also marks the first time that the Tigers have been featured in the preseason rankings since 2015, when Auburn claimed the ranking of 42nd in the nation and the first time being in the ITA preseason rankings since head coach Bobby Reynolds took the helm in 2016. The Tigers have not been ranked in the preseason top 25 since the 2013 season.
Auburn is set to begin the 2023 spring schedule at home on January 15th. The Tigers will face Michigan State at noon followed by Alabama State at 5 p.m. CT.
