BATON ROUGE, La. – No. 17 Auburn will conclude its regular season with two road matches over the weekend, as they will face No. 46 LSU on Friday at 5 p.m. CT as well as No. 24 Texas A&M at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.

"The LSU and A&M weekend will be tough travel and tough competition," said Auburn head coach Bobby Reynolds. "LSU is right on the border of making NCAAs and you have Texas A&M right there to possibly host if they can get a win or two in the tournament. That's what they're playing for, but what we're playing for is another opportunity and another notch in this program. The last couple of years, we haven't had more than six SEC wins and right now we're at five, so each milestone is something to play for."

The Tigers will enter Friday evening's match after splitting their matches over the weekend, as they shut out Arkansas 4-0 and fell to Alabama 4-3. Auburn holds a 17-8 overall record and is 5-5 in SEC play.

Auburn senior Tyler Stice, ranked 59th in the nation in singles, has won each of his last three matches at the top of the singles lineup card. Stice is coming off his fourth ranked dual singles victory of the season over No. 78 Filip Planinsek of Alabama.

LSU will enter Friday evening's match with a 12-9 overall record and a 2-8 record in SEC play. LSU has had a lot of success at the LSU Tennis Complex, as they have a 7-3 home match record.

Junior Ronald Hohmann is the highest ranked singles player on the LSU roster at 80th and has a 13-8 overall singles record and is 6-8 in dual singles matches. The Tiger doubles team of Stefan Latinovica and Nick Watson    , the 58th ranked doubles team in the country, currently holds a 16-10 overall record and a 7-8 record in dual matches from the top of the LSU doubles lineup.

Auburn's final opponent of the regular season, Texas A&M, currently holds a 14-9 overall record and is just ahead of the Tigers with a 6-4 conference record. The Aggies have been dominant on their home court, going 10-2 at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

A 4-3 road loss on Sunday moved Texas A&M down three spots from 21st to 24th in the latest ITA team rankings but the Aggies still had three singles players and one doubles team represented in the individual rankings that were announced on Tuesday.

Friday's match against LSU will begin at 5 p.m. at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge where live video and live stats will be available online on LSUSports.net. Sunday's match is scheduled to be played at 1 p.m. CT.
