AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women's tennis is set to begin the fall 2023 schedule this Friday at the UNC Invite and the Debbie Southern Fall Classic.
 
Selin Ovunc, Kaitlyn Carnicella and freshman Ava Esposito Cogan will begin their fall campaigns in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the UNC Invite. Ovunc, a 2022 All-American, will be making her first appearance since the 2022 season after missing all of last year with injury.
 
The three Tigers will be joined in the tournament's field by players from Clemson, Wake Forest, Georgia, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Duke, Alabama, Indiana, NC State, Ohio State and host school North Carolina.
 
Ali DeSpain and Adeline Flach, who claimed the doubles title at the ITA National Summer Championships in August, will begin the season at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic hosted by Furman University. The event in Greenville, South Carolina, will feature two rounds of doubles and one round of singles on Friday, one round of both doubles and singles on Saturday as well as one round of singles on Sunday to conclude the event.
 
Other teams that will have representatives in Greenville are Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Mississippi State, NC State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wake Forest and host school Furman.
 
Results from both the UNC Invite and the Debbie Southern Fall Classic will be available at AuburnTigers.com following each day of play.
