AUBURN, Ala.- After a successful opening weekend of the fall season, Auburn women's tennis will travel to Cary, North Carolina, for the Fall Ranked Spotlight hosted by NC State beginning Thursday. The Tigers also participated in the event last fall, when two Auburn doubles teams won their respective draws.

The same four players that claimed doubles titles last season will be returning to represent the Orange and Blue this week. Carolyn Ansari and Ariana Arseneault won the C-D flight while D.J. Bennett and Kaitlyn Carnicella took the G-H flight in 2022.

Ansari and Arseneault will each be competing in their first collegiate competition since being named ITA Singles All-Americans at the conclusion of last season. Bennett, a 2023 SEC All-Freshman Team selection, will also be making her fall debut for the Tigers while Carnicella will be playing in her second event of the fall. Carnicella claimed three singles victories and won her doubles flight alongside partner Selin Ovunc at the Kitty Harrison Invitational last week.

Opening doubles sessions will begin at 4 p.m. CT Thursday at Cary Tennis Park while singles matches will begin Friday morning at 8 a.m. CT. Match results will be posted at the conclusion of play each day on AuburnTigers.com.
