It took a final day comeback for the Auburn women's swimming and diving team to pick up its fifth NCAA Championship in program history. Auburn trailed Arizona by 13 points heading into the final day of action, but the Tigers rode its depth in the distance events to the win. All 19 Auburn swimmers earned at least one All-America honor at the meet to set an Auburn record as the Tigers earned four individual titles.

The Tigers swept the distance events as Adrienne Binder won the 500 free and Hayley Peirsol took the title in the 1,650 free. Rachel Goh provided the Tigers with a win in the 100 back for the second straight year, while freshman Ava Ohlgren took the gold in the 400 IM.
