Education: Nunnelley earned his bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in business from Auburn University in 2014.

Job Responsibilities: Nunnelley serves as the primary athletics communications contact for baseball and secondary contact for football. He helps manage the publicity and media relations for each sport, while also maintaining the historical records.

During his time on the Plains Auburn baseball has returned to national prominence, advancing to the College World Series in two of the last three postseasons and Super Regionals in three of the last four. Along with leading the publicity efforts of the team, Nunnelley has promoted numerous individual successes highlighted by 10 All-Americans, a Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, a District III Player of the Year, a Golden Spikes Award and Dick Howser Trophy Award Finalist, a No. 1 overall pick and a National Assistant Coach of the Year.

In addition to his baseball duties, he previously served as the primary contact for Auburn soccer from 2017-21. 

Past Experience: Nunnelley returned to Auburn after spending two years as an athletics communications assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University (Aug. 2015-Sept. 2017), where he served as the athletics communications contact for the baseball, cross country, swimming and diving and women's tennis programs. He also spent time as a media relations assistant at Coastal Carolina University (Dec. 2014-Aug. 2015) and volunteered in the athletics communications office at Auburn (Oct.-Dec. 2014) following graduation.

Personal: Nunnelley is a native of Louisville, Ky. He is married to the former Hope Drury, a native of Fredericksburg, Texas, and the couple had their first child, Adelaide, in Sept. 2023.
