Education: Goodlett graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Alabama in Florence, Ala., with a bachelor of science in Chemistry. He went on to graduate from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Ala. with a Doctor of Medicine and is a certified Team Physician-American College of Sports Medicine.

Job Responsibilities: Goodlett serves as the Auburn University Sports Medicine team physician, overseeing all aspects of the daily sports medicine/primary care needs of all Auburn University student-athletes. He coordinates care with the athletic training staff, local medical community, and Dr. James Andrews.

Past Experience: Goodlett is a Fellow American Academy of Family Physicians, a charter member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and a member of the American Sports Medicine Fellowship Society, American Medical Society, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, Lee County Medical Society, American Academy of Family Physicians and Alabama Academy of Family Physicians. Goodlett is also member of Auburn University Institutional Review Board for the Use of Human Subjects in Research since 1996. He is the Chief Medical Advisor Auburn University President Jay Gogue. Goodlett previously served as Medical Director of Auburn University Drake Student Health Center and was formerly the Team Physician at Jacksonville State University. Honors: Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, NCAA Scholar at the 2012 NFL National Invitation Combine / NFL Physician Society Annual Scientific Meeting , SEC Team Physician of the Year 2008.

Personal: Goodlett is married to the former Donna Webster of Tanner, Ala., and has two children, Haley and Hunter. His honors include Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, NCAA Scholar at the 2012 NFL National Invitation Combine / NFL Physician Society Annual Scientific Meeting , and SEC Team Physician of the Year in 2008.
