Tulsa, Okla. - AU men's tennis doubles team Alex Schweizer and Terence Nugent fell to North Carolina's Raian Luchici and Brad Pomeroy in the third round of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championship Friday.
In reaching the third round, the pair beat Denver's Adam Holmstrom and Niklas Persson, ranked nationally at 25. Schweizer and Nugent, ranked at 29, beat the pair 8-6. The duo was then defeated in the third round 8-6.
Schweizer, Nugent and the rest of the men's tennis team will continue fall action Thursday, Oct. 13, in the ITA Tennis Regional Tournament in Memphis, Tenn.
