In game one, Auburn had a brief lead at 9-8 before LSU went on an 8-1 run. AU cut the lead to two on a kill by Jacob, but errors by the Tigers proved to be too much and LSU went on to win the game, 30-24.

Glover's kill on the next point gave Auburn another lead, but it would prove to be the last one for AU in game two. The two teams were tied twice more in the frame, but Auburn just couldn't get over the hump, falling 30-23.

Game three was a battle with neither team gaining more than a four point edge, until a 9-1 run by LSU gave them a seven point advantage. The 13th ranked Tigers took game three 30-24, and with it, the match.

The Tigers will remain home to take on Arkansas on Sunday, Oct. 15 at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum at 1:30 p.m. It will be ROTC Day, and will feature a match between ROTC members at intermission.
