AUBURN, Ala. - Current and former members of the Auburn men's and women's swimming teams wrapped up competition during the final day of the Missouri Grand Prix Monday in Columbia, Mo.

Current members of the Auburn men's squad participated in prelims during the day but left prior to the evening's finals.

Pascal Wollach had the third-best time in the prelims in the 100m back with a mark of 56.55 seconds. His converted time of 47.22 seconds is an NCAA automatic qualifying time and the best mark by an Auburn swimmer in that event this season.

In the men's 100m fly, Jakob Andkjaer raced to a time of 54.36 seconds, which was the third-fastest time among all swimmers in the prelims, and Jordan Anderson was not far behind, posting the sixth-fastest prelim time of 54.93. Both times easily met the NCAA provisional qualifying mark, while Andkjaer's converted time of 47.18 missed the automatic mark by less than one tenth of a second.

In the 200m IM, Mark Johnson had the seventh-best time in the prelims with a time of 2:08.87. His converted time of 1:49.93 fell just shy of the NCAA provisional mark.

Former Tiger Margaret Hoelzer had a productive day, finishing second in the 100m back to world record-holder Natalie Coughlin with a time of 1:01.18, and placing third in the A final of the 100m fly, recording a time of 59.60 seconds.

Former Auburn All-American Eric Shanteau swam in the prelims of the 100m breast and the 200m IM, recording the fourth-best prelim mark in both events. He clocked times of 1:04.06 in the 100m breast and 2:08.87 in the 200m IM.

Selected Auburn swimmers will next be in action at the American Short Course Championships Feb. 22-25 in Austin, Texas.
