AUBURN - Seven members of the Auburn University Men's Golf Team read to seven classes at Auburn Early Education Center Tuesday.

Nils Bjorling read Fluffy and Baron, Jonathan Fly read Curious George at the Fire Station, Cory Gilmer and Jay Moseley both read The Lima Bean Monster, Glenn Northcutt read Miss Nelson is Missing!, Gordon Strother read Curious George and the Dinosaur and Keith White read Curious George visits the Zoo.

"It's great for our guys to come read to the kids and be involved in the community," said assistant coach Ryan Cabbage, who attended the event with the players. "Anytime you can have a positive influence on children, it's a wonderful thing."

Each student was also given an Auburn Pride Sportsmanship bracelet at the conclusion of their reading time for being so attentive and asking such great questions.

"I really love kids this age," said junior Keith White. "I feel privileged to be an Auburn student-athlete and to be a role model for these kids."
