AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Korvotney Barber scored a game-high 19 points to lead Auburn to a 67-56 victory over Alabama A&M on Saturday.
Rasheem Barrett had 12 points and Quantez Robertson had six points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Tigers (7-2).
Auburn had a 27-4 run to take a 33-14 halftime lead. Alabama A&M (3-6) shot just 20.7 percent from the floor in the first half.
Evan Hilton led Alabama A&M with 18 points and Trant Simpson added 17 points and six assists.
Mickell Gladness, the nation's second leading shot blocker, had five points, eight rebounds and six blocks for Alabama A&M.
Matt Heramb came off the bench with nine points for the Tigers in the first half. DeWayne Reed led Auburn with six assists.
Alabama A&M pulled within 11 points twice in the second half, but Auburn held on for the win.
The Bulldogs were short-handed because forward Jonathan Inman, the team's third leading scorer, separated his shoulder in their last practice and is out for the season.
