Auburn, Ala. - Nearly 50 members of military families from Ft. Benning, Ga., attended the Auburn vs. Xavier men*s basketball game on January 6. Camouflage Kids, a non-profit organization founded by Jeff Nix and based in Indiana, donated game tickets and Auburn Basketball t-shirts so that the group could attend the game. The group also received a behind the scenes tour of Jordan-Hare Stadium while they were on campus.
Jeff Nix, former Director of Scouting for the New York Knicks, founded Camouflage Kids in 2005, to provide tickets to collegiate athletic events to military families who have been impacted by deployment. In addition to attending an Auburn Basketball game this year, Camouflage Kids has also donated basketball tickets for families to attend games at both Michigan State and Indiana.
