Nashville, Tenn. - The No. 30 Auburn women's tennis team (12-4, 3-1 SEC) fell 5-2 to No. 15 Vanderbilt on Friday, breaking a three-match win-streak.
Auburn's two wins came from Fani Chifchieva in the number one singles spot and Alex Haney in the two spot.
Chifchieva extended her streak to 15 consecutive wins. She remains undefeated in the SEC with five singles victories.
Haney extended her win streak to three consecutive victories. She is 4-1 in conference matches.
The Tigers will host the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday, March 23, at noon at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn. Admission to the match is free. Live stats will be available at www.auburtigers.com.
