Auburn Men's Golf Finishes Sixth in Reunion Intercollegiate

MADISON, Miss. - The Auburn men's golf team shot a 14-over par 302 in the third round to finish sixth at 917 in the Reunion Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,416-yard Reunion Golf and Country Club in Madison, Miss. Tuesday.

Senior Glenn Northcutt (78-227) finished tied for 10th with an 11-over 227, 12 shots out of first.

Junior Cole Moreland (74-230) tied for 22nd, senior Keith White (71-233) tied for 39th, freshman Kyle Kopsick (80-234) tied for 41st and freshman John Stembridge (79-235) tied for 45th.

"Glenn Northcutt had a quality tournament for us," said Auburn head coach Mike Griffin. "We were able to move up a little in the team standings. This was our final tune-up before the SEC Championship so we have a lot of practice ahead of us in the next two weeks."

Arkansas's Andrew Landry (72-72-71-215) claimed the individual championship followed by Vanderbilt's Adam Hofmann (71-72-75-218) in second and LSU's John Peterson (72-75-75-222) in third.

The Tigers return to action April 17-19 at the SEC Championship in Sea Island, Ga.
