TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- In breezy and overcast conditions Auburn cross country runners, Ben Cheruiyot and Holly Knight, conclude their seasons at the NCAA Championships Monday on the LaVern Gibson Championship Course located at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Ind.
In her final cross country race as an Auburn Tiger, Knight finished 79th in a field of 253. The Devon, England native ran 21:11.00 in the 6K race.
Cheruiyot, a junior from Eldoret, Kenya, ran 31:17.70 in the men's 10K race to finish 111th out of 246 runners.
Villanova's Shelia Reid won the women's individual title and Samuel Chelanga from Liberty won the men's race.
