HUDSON OAKS, Texas - The No. 3 Auburn equestrian team dropped a tough competition to No. 6 TCU Saturday, falling 11-7 at October Hill Farm in Hudson Oaks, Texas.

The Tiger hunt seat riders remained undefeated, winning both events and 6-3 overall.

"Our hunt seat riders continue to roll and remain undefeated," said head coach Greg Williams. "Despite some great rides by our western squads, we couldn't score high enough to pick up points to win. Congratulations to the TCU girls for their win."

In equitation over fences, Auburn (5-2) was led by freshman MVP Jennifer Waxman, who defeated Caitlin Ader 84-82. Other winners included Elise Fraza over Haley Jacobi 80-73 and Ali Loprete over Callie Selchau 83-76. Dottie Grubb tied opponent Victoria Lee with a score of 80.

In western horsemanship, TCU (3-0) swept the Tigers 5-0, despite junior Kristin Hansen scoring a 76 and sophomore Indy Roper scoring a 78.
