AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn gymnastics is ranked 12th nationally in the 2015 National Coaches Poll, the highest preseason ranking in school history after being ranked 13th each of the last two seasons.
"Being ranked 12th in the coaches preseason poll is exciting news for our program," said two-time SEC Coach of the Year Jeff Graba. "Since the top 12 teams are national championship teams in reality, this means that our fellow coaches across the country believe us to be a championship caliber program this year.
"In the end, it is nothing more than a poll, but it does show the respect that our program is garnering across the country. It's definitely an exciting time to be an Auburn Tiger Gymnast."
Three SEC teams are ranked in the top four while there are six in the top 13 and seven ranked overall. Back-to-back defending national champion Florida is ranked No. 1 followed by Oklahoma, who tied for the national championship last year. LSU is ranked No. 3 ahead of Alabama, UCLA, Utah, Georgia, Michigan, Nebraska and Stanford to round out the top 10.
Oregon State is No. 11 followed by No. 12 Auburn, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Penn State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Boise State, Denver, Arizona, Kentucky, Central Michigan, Washington and Iowa State.
Season ticket prices for Auburn's five home meets vs. No. 13 Arkansas on Jan. 23, Air Force on Jan. 30, No. 3 LSU on Feb. 13, No. 7 Georgia on Feb. 27 and North Carolina on March 13 are as follows:
