KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Auburn senior Fraser McKean wrapped up the Tennessee Diving Invitational Monday with a first-place finish on platform at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.

McKean scored 374.30 in the six-dive final to earn his 10th win of the year and his third straight victory on tower. The senior's score was his second-best performance on platform this season.

"I thought Fraser put together a strong list and even had a chance to set his personal best today," Auburn diving coach Jeff Shaffer said. "I thought our team competed hard and got better each day. The level of competition at this meet was outstanding. To have an eight-day layoff and expect for us to be at our best may have been a stretch, but I was really pleased with how we competed."

"I like where we are as a team. There's things we can work on, but as we get into the championship portion of our season I like the progress we've made. We were aggressive this weekend and I think that sets us up well for SECs which are just six weeks away."

Freshman Pete Turnham ended the meet on a high note, setting a personal-best with a 276.00 to place eighth overall in the one-list final.

Cinzia Calabretta finished the meet on a strong note, taking fourth in the women's final with a score of 238.05, just .35 points out of third. The senior was also Auburn's top-finisher on the 3-meter springboard in Sunday's final.

Junior Carly Scheper took ninth, scoring 218.50 competing on tower for the first time this season.

Auburn's full squad returns to action on Thursday at 2 p.m. against No. 1/6 Texas at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center. The meet will be televised on the SEC Network + and available to watch on the WatchESPN app.
