Jamie Yun finishes third at Lady Bulldog Individual

ATHENS, Ga. - Auburn junior women's golfer Jamie Yun earned a third-place finish in the 36-hole Lady Bulldog Individual Championship, which wrapped up Saturday afternoon at the UGA Golf Course.

Yun posted a score of 77-76=153 (+9) to tie for a third-place showing in the 51-player field. It was the first top-10 finish of Yun's Auburn career. She led a contingent of three Auburn golfers that competed on the day.

Freshman Michaela Owen tied for 22nd in her collegiate debut with scores of 84-80=164 (+20). Senior Nicole Quinn shot 87-87=174 (+30) to tie for 38th place. Senior Victoria Trapani was slated to compete but did not due to an injury.

Georgia's Manuela Carbajo Re won the tournament at 76-70=146 (+2).

Auburn will begin the team portion of the spring season later this month as they travel to the Lady Puerto Rico Invitational. The tournament runs Feb. 15-17 at the River Course at Rio Mar in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
