AUBURN, Ala.
- Auburn swimmers completed in their last competition of the 2014-15 season last weekend at the Florida Last Chance Meet in Gainesville, Fla. 21 Tigers participated in the three-day meet at the O'Connell Center, Feb. 27-March 1, looking to improve their qualification times for the NCAA meet.

Auburn's swimmers competed in its final meet of the regular season at the Florida Last Chance with several Tigers improving on their season-best swims.

Freshman Peter Holoda lowered his 100 free time down to 42.91, which now ranks inside the top-25 in the nation this year. Holoda also picked up a NCAA `B' cut in the 200 free with a swim of 1:37.07 in Gainesville.

Alex Goerzen recorded an NCAA `B" cut standard in the 200 back, setting a personal-best in the event at 1:45.38. The sophomore also clocked a PR time in the 50 free (21.30) and 100 back (48.98). Freshman Josh Booth collected a season-best mark in the 50 free at 20.86.

For the Auburn women, Zoe Thatcher lowered her time in the 200 free down to 1:47.38 to earn a NCAA provisional standard in the event. Alex Merritt nearly set a personal best in the 50 free at 23.32. Breanna Roman went 23.57 in the 50 free and 50.92 in the 100 free to post her fastest times of the season.

ESPNU will air two, 90-minute shows recapping the 2015 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships on Monday. The show recapping the men's meet begins at 3 p.m., and the women's show will begin at 4:30 p.m. The SEC Network will re-air both highlight shows on Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. CT.

Auburn's men and women's diving team are wrapping up preparation for the 2015 NCAA Zone B Diving Championships in Athens, Ga. The three-day meet kicks off on Monday, March 9 and runs through Wednesday, March 11 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium.

The Tigers will send four divers to compete on the women's side, while three men's divers are entered for the competition. Each competition has eight spots allocated for the NCAA Championships.

Fraser McKean enters the competition fresh off winning the SEC title on platform with a personal-best score of 451.95. The senior earned two All-America honors at last year's 2014 NCAA Men's Championships.
