STANFORD, Calif. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Two rounds are in the books for the Auburn women's golf team at the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Dr. Condoleeza Rice.
The Tigers are in 17th place after a second-round 314 (+30). Auburn stands at 617 (+49) for the week.
Senior Alex Harrell led Auburn in Monday's second round with a 4-over-par 75 and is tied for 65th through two rounds. Freshman Melanie Talbott added a 79 (+8) and is tied for 69th.
Stanford continues to lead its home tournament at even par, three shots ahead of UCLA. Pepperdine's Marissa Chow maintained her individual lead at 6-under-par.
The final round of the tournament and the fall season gets underway at 11 a.m. CT Tuesday on the 10th tee. Auburn will be paired with Pepperdine and various individuals. Live scoring is available at birdiefire.com.
