AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn started fast, but Georgia figured out the Tigers in the second half on the way to a 20-13 victory Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Auburn led 10-3 at the half, but couldn't find an answer down the stretch in the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry.

Isaiah McKenzie's 4-yard touchdown run tied Auburn with 1:20 left in third quarter, and he returned a punt 53 yards in the fourth quarter to give the Bulldogs the lead. A Morgan Marshall field goal gave the Bulldogs a 10-point lead. Daniel Carlson's 38-yard field goal -- his 14th straight -- cut Georgia's lead to seven with 1:14 left.

Georgia recovered Auburn's onside kick attempt and then ran out the clock.

It was a defensive day. Georgia had only 243 yards. Auburn had 275.

Auburn fell to 5-5 overall and 2-5 in the Southeastern Conference. Georgia improved to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the league.

Auburn will play host to Idaho in its final non-conference game at 3 p.m. next Saturday.

Jeremy Johnson quarterback Auburn in the first half. He split time with Sean White in the second half.

Auburn led Georgia 7-3 at halftime in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Auburn scored on its opening drive when Kerryon Johnson took a direct snap and scored on a 7-yard run 4½ minutes into the game. The Tigers' offense didn't score the rest of the first half, turning over some of the big plays to Auburn's defense, which turned away one scoring chance when Georgia failed to convert on a fourth-and-1 play at the Tigers' 2.

Morgan's 40-yard field goal finally cut Auburn's lead to 7-3 with four minutes left in the second quarter.

Johnson was 4-for-4 passing on the first drive. Jovon Robinson rushed for 28 yards. Johnson 7-yard TD run finished off the drive.
