AUBURN, Ala. - Home team LSU was the 5-2 winner over visiting Auburn in a hard-fought SEC match Sunday afternoon at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge.

All three doubles matches were competitive, but LSU captured the team doubles point with a 6-4 win on court one and a 6-2 win on court two.

In singles, Marko Krickovic took down Jordan Daigle, rated No. 42 nationally, in the number one singles position by a 6-3, 6-0 score, and Dante Saleh, at number four, posted a three-set victory over Boris Arias 6-4, 2-6, 7-5.

No. 32 LSU is now 7-4 this spring. No. 66 Auburn is now 8-5. The Tigers travel to No. 30 Florida for another SEC match Friday at 4 p.m. CT.

Auburn's next home match is Friday, March 18, vs. Ole Miss. All home matches are played at the Yarbrough Tennis Center (771 Yarbrough Farms Blvd., Auburn) and admission is free.
