AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" No. 25 Florida used strong efforts in singles and doubles on its home court to post a 7-0 win over visiting No. 64 Auburn in an SEC match Friday afternoon at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex in Gainesville.

Florida captured the doubles point with a 6-1 win by the nation's second-ranked doubles tandem of Diego Hidalgo and Gordon Watson over Marko Krickovic and Edward Nguyen, and a 6-2 victory on court three by Alfredo Perez and Chase Perez-Blanco over Max Hinnisdaels and Joseph Van Dooren.

The Gators won the first set of all six singles matches. Auburn's Dante Saleh on court three and Brandon Laubser on court five each took a set to a tiebreaker, but Florida ended up posting victories across the slate to secure the 7-0 victory over the Tigers.

No. 64 Auburn is now 8-6. The No. 25 Gators are 7-4 overall and 2-1 in SEC action this spring.

Auburn's next match is at home on Friday, March 18, hosting SEC opponent Ole Miss. All home matches are played at the Yarbrough Tennis Center (771 Yarbrough Farms Blvd., Auburn) and admission is free.
