ATLANTA - Annie Lazor made it two-for-two on Saturday morning, swimming a 2:08.47 to advance to the consolation finals of the 200 breaststroke a day after doing the same in the 100 breaststroke at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Lazor, who finished 13th in the 100 breaststroke on Friday, is seeded fourth in the consolation finals after touching in the 12th-fastest time in the morning. Natasha Lloyd is the second alternate in the event after swimming a 2:09.88.

Lazor will be the first Auburn swimmer to swim in the finals of both the 100 and 200 breaststroke at the same championships since Melanie Roberts was an honorable mention All-American in both in 2008.

Lazor will be swimming in the consolation finals for the second straight year after finishing 10th a year ago. The last Auburn swimmer to swim in the 200 breaststroke at back-to-back NCAA Championships was Micah Lawrence in 2009 and 2010.

Prelims of the 1,650 freestyle begin at 2:30 p.m. CT. Ashley Neidigh and Zoe Thatcher will swim in heat three of six in the event.

The finals of the championships begin at 5 p.m. from the McAuley Aquatic Center on Georgia Tech's campus.
